What to expect before you start.

Can we set it up before the baby arrives?

Yes. Start a circle, invite one relative and try the sign-in together. You can add photos whenever you are ready.

How do grandparents join?

Invite them to the circle; they sign in once with an email code. They can use a browser on their phone, tablet or computer. A new device or expired session can require another code.

What happens after the trial?

The recurring plan you choose starts charging after 14 days unless you cancel before the trial ends. A card is required. Invited relatives do not need their own subscription.

Who should we invite before the baby arrives?

Start with the people you would naturally send the first picture to. Agree together who should be in the circle, then invite one person and try the email-code sign-in. The calmest setup is the one nobody has to troubleshoot from the hospital.

What should we share in the first week?

Everyday photos count: the first morning home, a sleepy cuddle, a grandparent holding a tiny hand. Looly is a family timeline, not a milestone checklist. Choose what belongs in your family circle and leave the rest in your personal library.

Can we change our minds later?

Yes. Keep your own originals and try a small circle before inviting everyone. An administrator can download the whole circle, including originals and comments, without needing an active subscription while the circle and account still exist.

What to know before you start

Looly is not end-to-end encrypted. Originals are stored in the EU; processing and delivery can operate globally. Relatives must sign in. Android access is through the browser. Importing cannot restore quality missing from a source file. Recurring plans start with a 14-day trial, require a card and renew automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
