Looly pricing: one subscription, the family together
Looly is a private family photo and video app. Annual costs €99/year and Monthly costs €12/month; both include 250 GB across the circles you run. Invited relatives can view and comment without a subscription. Recurring plans begin with a 14-day trial, with a card required.

What does one Looly subscription cover?
The subscription belongs to the administrator. It covers the circles that person runs, including separate circles for siblings. Storage is shared across those circles, not a fresh allowance for each child. Invited contributors and followers do not need their own paid plan.
All three plans include invite-only circles, original file storage, comments, FamilyAlbum import and whole-circle downloads. Choose a payment schedule for your family, not a feature bundle for each relative.
What happens at the end of the trial?
Annual and Monthly renew automatically after 14 days unless you cancel before the trial ends. A card is required when you start. Annual is charged as €99 in one payment, not €8.25 each month. Twelve monthly payments total €144, so the annual plan costs €45 less over a full year.
Founding Family is a separate one-time purchase with 100 GB, not the 250 GB recurring allowance. Lifetime means the service lifetime under our terms, not a promise that any company will exist forever.
Can I take my photos with me?
Yes. An administrator can request a whole-circle export containing original files, comments, albums and an offline browsing page. It is delivered in ZIP parts of up to 2 GiB. One export per circle can be requested every 24 hours, and download links remain available for seven days.
Export is not gated by an active paid subscription. It also works during the trial, the read-only grace period and after subscription deactivation, while the account and circle still exist. Download your copies before deleting your account.
Which plan should we choose?
Annual suits a family ready to make Looly its regular place. Monthly suits a family that wants to pay one month at a time. Founding Family suits people who prefer a one-time purchase and are comfortable with the lower storage allowance. Do grandparents have to pay?
No. Invited grandparents can view and comment without a paid subscription. They need an invitation and must sign in.
Is there a free storage plan?
No. Hosting a circle requires a trial or paid plan. Invited relatives join without paying.
What to know before you start
Looly is not end-to-end encrypted. Originals are stored in the EU; processing and delivery can operate globally. Relatives must sign in. Android access is through the browser. Importing cannot restore quality missing from a source file. Recurring plans start with a 14-day trial, require a card and renew automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
